Barad-dur (Lugburz) - Mordor

A big project here (literally: it's twice the size of my usual drawings). Honestly, I wasn't expecting doing more LOTR related stuff, but when I was doing Minas Tirith, I remembered that I got somewhere the picture of this amazing Barad-Dûr model (check "the making of" section!). So I thought: "Why not try?" (I answer myself: "Because it's too much for you!", but I usually ignore myself ).

And I was right: It was too much. But I think I did a decent copy. There are a lot of things in it, so the bad new was that I was going to do, for sure, a lot of mistakes (and there are a lot of mistakes in the drawing). But the good new was that "there are a lot of things in it", so all is cover in the entanglement of lines.

I just point some problems: you need to imagine the rocks more "rocky", because I can't do them properly. I skip several details because, you know, I have limits. If I couldn't see clearly something in the model, I made up - I did it quite in the top part (also some parts too dark). And I didn't drew Sauron, because he was gone to the eye doctor, or something (now seriously: because I can't draw eyes). Finally, I got some problems with the cleaning part, because I lost some details when I exceeded with the cleaning tools.

He aquí un proyecto realmente grande (de forma literal, porque mide el doble de lo usual en mis dibujos). Realmente no pensaba hacer más cosas relacionadas con ESDLA, pero mientras hacía el dibujos de Minas Tirith, recordé que en algún lugar había conseguido la imagen de este increíble modelo de Barad-Dûr (¡tienen que checar la sección de "The making of"!). Así que mi yo irracional pensó: "¿Por qué no intentarlo?" (a lo que mi yo menos irracional respondió: "Pues porque es demasiado para ti"; pero por lo regular no suelo hacerme caso ).

Debo decir que mi yo tenía razón: era demasiado. Pero creo que a pesar de todo, logré hacer una buena copia. Había un montón de detalles, por lo que la mala noticia fue que seguro que iba a cometer un montón de errores (hay un montón de errores en el dibujo). Pero por otra parte, la buena noticia fue "que hay un montón de detalles", luego los errores quedarán cubiertos entre todos ellos.

Así que sólo apuntaré unos cuantos: para empezar, tendrán que imaginar a las rocas más "rocosas", porque simplemente no puedo dibujarlas. También me salté un montón de detalles porque, bueno soy humano y tengo límites en mis capacidades. Como es usual, cuando no podía distinguir bien algún elemento me lo inventé; sobre todo en la parte superior (y las zonas oscuras). El ojo de Saurón no está presente, porque éste se fue al oculista... o algo (en realidad, porque tampoco puedo dibujar ojos). Finalmente, tuve algunos problemas con el proceso de limpieza del dibujo, porque se perdían demasiados detalles cuando limpiaba en exceso, así que lo dejé a medias.
